Dear Big Global Human Family

What are the main issues in our global human family?

On the one hand, we have hunger. It's a huge problem. What can we do to solve this? We can create an international law that would guarantee that the food that is produced in one area is used to feed the people in that area. Then, and only after having fed everyone in that area, we would use the food that remains in a commercial way. Another aspect of this law would be to locate the areas where there is hunger and find the closest food producers—giving priority to healthy and sustainable food producers—and assigning them the responsibility of feeding the people in that area. They would have financial support so they could actually do it, and we would make sure they are actually feeding everyone in order to continue receiving that help.

By doing this we would advance a giant step towards eradicating Hunger and not only this, we would also solve other issues we are facing right now: we would minimize the impact of transportation by encouraging local produce and consumption, we would reduce the speculation with third world countries food and we would also remind everyone that food is a basic need that cannot be denied to anyone on the Earth because denying food to someone is actually denying their right to continue living and that is a crime in every culture.

On the other hand, we have the violation of Human Rights as an enormous issue too. There are many countries where Human Rights are not being respected, not even at a basic level. What can we do? Since we cannot change the laws in other countries, we should focus on teaching and on respecting Human Rights in the countries where Human Rights are supposed to be respected.

We have to educate our children. Human Rights should be one of the most important subjects to be studied and taught in our schools. And we are not talking so much about learning them by heart, but actually about assimilating them, about learning to apply them in their everyday lives, about learning to apply them every single day and in every situation, in their reflections, in the way they talk about people, in the way they share and distribute things. And not only the children, all of us adults should start respecting the Human Rights, always, especially the media because of their power of influence. One step we can take on the personal level is not following any unrespectful media, for example.

Of course, we have to educate all the people that live in countries where those rights are being violated. And how do we do that? Well then, we have the best opportunity ever to do that because they are all willing to come to our free countries. We should welcome them all here, we should let them all in and let them enjoy their rights. This way, after having lived in a respectful country, having been fed and educated, having been well taken care of, then those people will be prepared to change their own countries.

How can we pretend to educate the people who live in countries where there is a predomination of corruption, hunger, violence and speculation, and where no rights are being respected? We should educate everyone in our free and respectful countries, especially those who come from countries where Human Rights are not being respected. We should welcome them all. So our countries can be the University of the Human Race, where everyone will be educated and will learn how to respect Human Rights, how to treat our equals, that we are all equal, that there is knowledge enough to solve many sicknesses, and that many issues that are mortal in other countries are solved in our countries. Here is where we are going to start the healing of the whole world: in our countries.

Educating them here in our countries is the easiest, cheapest, safest and healthiest way I see right now because at the same time we would enrich our souls and open our minds, by learning from many cultures, and by creating multicultural harmony.

So, let's welcome them all, all those who are seeking a better life, because we can provide it: we have the knowledge, we have the resources, we only need the WILL, the LOVE, and the KINDNESS, and that is something we all have inside, it doesn't cost any money, so there is no excuse. We can do it.

To build this New World, this better world, we have to do it together. We cannot change other countries, but the people who know those countries, who come from those countries, they can be educated and can receive all the knowledge, information, freedom, rights they need in order to develop to the best of themselves, so they can go and heal their countries. We are not part of their countries and we don't know where to start changing things in their countries—bombing is not a good start, by the way—but THEY are the right people to change their own countries.

Right now they don't have the resources, they don't have the education system, they don't have Freedom, they don't have access to food, they don't have hospitals, they don't have safety, and that is why they are coming here, and that is why we can provide everything, so they can go and change their own countries, and that is how we are going to heal the world. No more money or any kind of energy should be invested in violence, hate, weapons, war, fear or xenophobia. We cannot afford any of it. So let's all start with our own lives, our own homes, our own towns. Let's all invest in love, in kindness, in compassion, and in humanity.

Together we can heal the world. Thank you all for being here.
